Welcome
to the sports orthopedic surgery department of the Klinikum rechts der Isar of the Technical University of Munich. On this website, we introduce our highly specialized team and give you an overview of the therapeutic measures we can offer you as an academic sports orthopedics department.

We will develop an individual treatment plan for you and advise you on the basis of the latest scientific evidence. A large number of injuries and diseases of the musculoskeletal system can be treated by innovative, minimally invasive procedures (especially arthroscopic methods). However, especially complex cases (e.g. with axial malalignment of the knee joint or joint degeneration of the shoulder and elbow) are routinely treated in our specialized department and followed up by our in-house physiotherapy.

In addition to clinical care, our scientific focus is on patient-oriented research (including biomechanics and artificial intelligence). Collaboration with national and international research teams enables to explain the most current treatment approaches for your optimal therapy and thus weigh the greatest possible benefit for you.

If you have any questions for us, we look forward to your call or e-mail.

Make an appointment with us. We look forward to meeting you!

Best regards

Prof. Dr. med. Sebastian Siebenlist, MHBA
